We were in Interlaken (meaning between two lakes), it is located between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun. We toured the area in the morning (April 11). This is one of the two canals connecting the two lakes.62 views

After leaving Stresa, we drove throught the Simplon Pass, arrive at Taesch, Switzerland. We then took the train to Zermatt to see the Matterhorn, one of the hightest peaks (over 14,000 feet) of the Swiss Alps.62 views

We boarded the train at Lauterbrunnen and climbed up the mountain to Jungfraubahn in the afternoon. We had lunch there.60 viewsWe were at Kleine Scheidegg six and half years earlier during the first part of October, but had seen hardly any snow other than those on mountain peaks.
