Palazzo Pubblico, a palace, and the courtyard in front is the Piazza del Campo

Piazza del Campo is where the famours Palio di Siena (a horse race) held twice each year (on 7/2 and 7/16) in honor of Assumption of Mary. In one of the latest James Bond movies(Quantum of Solace), there was a scene made during the race
